WILL THERE BE OTHER PARTIES IN THE VEHICLE IF I PAY FOR A CHARTER?
No, when you pay to charter the van, only your group of up to eight people (and your driver) will be present in the vehicle. We do not take on or book extra passengers not booked specifically with your charter.
YOU HAVE A FIFTEEN PASSENGER VAN, CAN YOU TAKE MORE THAN EIGHT PEOPLE?
Technically yes, but we do not recommend over eight folks in the vehicle especially on any of the longer tours. These tours are designed to maximize comfort not profit. Empty seats allow for personal items to be close at hand and not crowd leg room. The extra space also allows for easier ingress and egress of the van. Special exceptions can be made with prior arrangement ie: smaller adults or children.
IS THE PRICE THE SAME IF ONLY ONE PERSON WISHES TO CHARTER THE VEHICLE?
Yes, pricing doesn't change in relation to the amount of people in the van. You will find the pricing is still lower than with similar tour operators as they usually have a minimum passenger count requirement for the trip to proceed in the first place. If you have three or more people in your charter group, the cost is generally lower "per person" than our competitors "per person" rates. There are no other fees in relation to the actual transportation whether you are alone or with seven family/friends. It should be noted that food, drink, and admission to attractions will be separate costs incurred at your chosen venues.
CAN I CHARTER THE VAN FOR MULTIPLE DAYS?
Yes, though it depends on prior reservations and the length of the charter. If travel is required overnight outside of Fairbanks, lodging costs may be incurred to cover the driver's accommodations. Please email or call for more information on long term charters.
CAN I CHARTER THE VAN TO CARRY CARGO?
Yes, the van has removable seats and can carry up to 3000 lbs. of gear. It can also carry a combination of passengers and bulky gear, though removing seats obviously reduces passenger capacity. Dimensional area of the van's interior is similar to a large cargo van.
CAN YOU PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION TO LOCATIONS NOT LISTED?
Yes, we regularly provide charters to locations around the interior of Alaska. We can also provide transport to most locations outside of the interior. Please inquire via email or phone as to the possibilities for a specialized trip.
WHAT TYPES OF PAYMENT DO YOU TAKE?
We take all major credits card accepted by Square. We also take cash. We do not accept personal checks.
WHAT IS YOUR RESERVATION CANCELLATION POLICY?
For most trips cancellations must take place at least 24 hours in advance or any prepayment/deposit may be forfeit. Multi-day charter reservations will require a more advanced notice of seven days prior to the trip date for cancellation. You will be notified if this is the case when you make your reservation.
